Daniel says:

It's so true, though. I wandered around Paris by foot for ten hours yesterday. I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted to see and where to see them but often I'd just start wandering the crowded streets, turning when it felt like a good idea, or when I didn't care to wait for a traffic light. Then something would pop up between the buildings and I'd head in that direction. It was a great experience and I ran into a lot of random stuff along the way.

My friends and I did Paris the same way! It was amazing what we saw in a day but by the end I could barely put one foot in front of the other. The only way I got back to the hotel was with the promise of a nutella and banana crepe at the end of our trek :o) I'd love to hear more about your trip!
